Started fishing Friday around 3pm trolling clark spoons at the sea buoy and up and down the beach. Caught 3 or 4 keeper spanish and another 3 or so blues before calling it quits around 7pm.

Our temperature reading stayed around 84.5 - 85.5 offshore. I never saw anything close to 79 degrees. Maybe we need to check our temp sensor....

Thats a good idea. I saw a few birds diving in the inlet to Cherry Grove, isn't it Hogs inlet? The birds I saw were sea gulls so I don't think they were diving for pogies. We did manage a few spanish ...
