| Parking Lot--This weekend the water was 69 degrees top to bottom. Lots of kings, jacks, and bonita on the top. The usual bottom fair on the live bottom. Tons of bait stacked all around. |

| We were a few miles inshore of the hole and had 68 on the surface and 66 on the bottom. Tons of bontia and kings in that area. Must been a small eddy of warmer water. |

Loran is not as accurate as a GPS. Loran will get you within 60ft on average and a GPS will get you within 9ft on average. Of course it all depends on the unit.

Right now there is not a thermocline. That is usually a summertime thing. The temp inshore at about 14 miles was 68 top to bottom and at 40 miles it was 72.
