i use mostly shimanos with the exception of a couple senators. love the shimanos. sturdy, great drag, pretty light. _________________ 31' Contender -- Pound for Pound

| Avets are nice from what I hear, but I don't have any. I do have shimano and like it. Light weight and quick retrieve. Broke the Tevella rod it was on this weekend, but free replacement. |

I am personally looking at one of the new Diawa Saltigas in the single speed for jigging, it will either be that or a saragosa 14000 _________________ Paul Pancake - Coastal Saltwater Anglers

| Capt. Barta uses Avet's... Penn Senators are a great buy... For the best all around, I would go with Shimano TLD25s |
