Hey guys, my name is Paul Pancake, I am a student at CCU as well as a member of the Coastal Saltwater Anglers. This is a student based club that is compltely addicted to saltwater fishing. Every year we hold a fishing seminar on campus as a fundraiser for the club. Last years seminar was a blast, our speakers were Capt. J Baisch on flounder fishing, Capt. Smiley on shallow water reds, Capt. Chris Burrows on bluewater trolling as well as Capt. Joe Winslow on king fishing. This years seminar will be held on March 6th, the line-up of of speakers is still being worked on, but will definatly consist of Capt. Englis of Tee2Sea fishing charters, as well as Capt. Joe Winslow. I will post more information on the speakers as time goes on, but it will certainly be worthwhile! Ticket Costs will be 10 $ for the general public as well as 5$ tickets for members of the LRFC, Seacoast Anglers, and any students with a proper student ID. |

Hey everyone, just some updates on the seminar, Sea Striker (Star Rods) has donated a rod to use as a door prize it is a 6'6" Nickelite rated from 12-20 lb test. The Murrells inlet West Marine has donated over a 150$ worth of tackle to use as door prizes. Fishizzle Tackle has promised to donate tackle to use as door prizes. WWW.southcarolina-offshore.com has offered to donate a years subscription to SeaVeiw. I am currently working on getting anything and everything I can to help all those who attend walk away with something in their hands as well as valueable information.
Also we have decided to donate 10 % of our proceeds to Perry's Bait and Tackle in Murrells Inlet to help pay for the articial reef in memory of Winston Perry who just recently passed away.
