| Need some help deciding what reel to put on my new Riley Rod that is in the mail.... Got Mike to build me a custom for a conventional reel and want a good reel for it... been leaning toward a shimano or Avet but also thinkking about a Saltiga??????? Too many choices!!!! |

i use mostly shimanos with the exception of a couple senators. love the shimanos. sturdy, great drag, pretty light. _________________ 24' Mako -- Out of Bounds

| Avets are nice from what I hear, but I don't have any. I do have shimano and like it. Light weight and quick retrieve. Broke the Tevella rod it was on this weekend, but free replacement. |
