I just wanted to take a minute to welcome everyone to SouthCarolina-Offshore.com. My name is Keith Logan and I have partnered up with one of the paramount charter Captains on the East Coast, Captain Dave Tilley, to bring technology to South Carolina that previously has not been available. Capt. Dave is not only the captain of a 100+ foot charter boat but he is a fishing data-computer mastermind. He has spent more than a decade designing the programs you see here and they are ROCK SOLID. ReefCast boasts a 93% accuracy rating and is amazing! Supermap is SICK! I am your go to guy if you have any questions or need any help but Dave will always be around so feel free to contact either one of us.
Our goal here is to provide the user with the best one stop site for all your offshore fishing requirements.

Unlike most sites....SouthCarolina-Offshore.Com is not just a Forum and a $15.00 a month hosting account. We run Offshore Weather Models like ReefCast and WaveCast, we offer FREE In House SST services like Bluewater Supermap and we custom create all of this FREE of charge for the Offshore Fishing Community.
These things cost me a LOT of money to create, host and maintain. We offset those expenses with Paid Advertising.

Well...We are pretty easy here. We have a lot of people from all different areas on this board. The world would be really boring place if we all agreed on everything. There WILL be different opinions on a lot of topics. All we ask is that you conduct yourselves as Gentlemen. That means...NO NAME CALLING EVER FOR ANY REASON. If you have a position...make it...No personal attacks. I don't care what they said. If you read something that is out of line here....Let US know and we will handle it. So far I have not banned anyone for anything...I would like to keep it that way. I want everyone....Recreational and Commercial Fisherman to feel free to speak their minds here. I will not EVER say a word about your content as long as you do it politely. If you wonder if your post goes outside these bounds....Try going for a walk before you hit the "Submit" button.

We now cover Maine to Florida to Texas to Mexico to Washington State. ALL FREE!

Why Supermap?
Supermap is not just a "Pretty Picture" like most of these other services. The tech behind Supermap was developed by NASA for the display of satellite data. It wraps the data around a model of the earth. That is why it is so accurate. The others take a FLAT image and try to wrap it around a round object. It just doesn't work.
How do you know if you are looking at a "Pretty Picture"?
If the temperature changes as you roll the mouse...it is just a "Pretty Picture"! and for MY fuel $$'s Pretty Pictures just don't cut it! Supermap Rules hands down!
Ohhh....and we updated the Print Function! It works much better now.
ReefCast updates
We are still hovering around 93% accurate out 3 days with ReefCast. The traffic at times is unbelievable. I have a few tricks up my sleeve yet with it and we continue to add servers to support this wonderful tool. Those that don't know, ReefCast is a 3 mile by 3 mile forecast showing wind speed, wind direction, wave height and wave period out 7 days.
New Tide Chart Interface
We have a new interface for the tide charts. This should make it easier to pick your tide station. We also included a new "Print" format for printing 1 week and 1 month worth of the tide times.
Solunar Tables
A few years ago when I first got into Solunar Tables, everyone charged an arm and a leg for a simple set of tables. Not us...We custom wrote the program that produces our tables and we give it away for FREE. It works anywhere you can click both onshore and offshore. (Great for hunting too) It is nice to see more folks learning about this easy to use tool. A great tip...On the days that show a 5...the current offshore will be kicking!
