National Marine Fisheries Service against fishing
Roy Crabtree, the fisheries service official in charge of snapper regulations;

“But keep in mind, we are restoring the ecosystem to a more natural state of affairs. Fishing is something that affects the ecosystem. We are trying to mitigate that effect,” Crabtree said.

Yeah they are right!!! Recreational fishing is no good.... me for example, I spend tens of thousands on a boat, spent more thousands on equipment for it, support my local tackle shop for thousands more so I can fish, and oh yeah then I have to fill my tank with fuel at the rate of two or three thousand dollars a year and then after that I have to spend more to maintain the dang thing. They are right, we recreational fishermen spend too much and we need to get onboard and slow the economy down before its too late! (After all they are doing a great job at it!) Wink
