| I'm also new here. I've been lurking for a few weeks, mostly reading A LOT of great info on East Coast fishing. I will be moving to S.C. from S. California in about 3 weeks. I can't wait to get there and explore the possibilities. |

Welcome to the site, there are a on of different fishing opportunities in SC. I saw more butterflies this week moving around than I have yet, its almost time and shrimping opens on Friday.
The site is one of the best because of the no-nonsense fishing layout. The best weather information possible (reefcast), the supermap and the knowledge of the members. Good luck with your fishing and I hope to see some reports and to be posting some soon. |

I'm sort of expecting a bit of a shock. I've only spent 1 week in S.C., but I loved it. I have been an avid hunter and angler for many years, so at least I've got that going for me. |

this is a great site, just dont seem to have the people posting alot lately, it will pick up since the weather is changing more to a fall bite. youll love the hunting also. i took by 2 sons out dove hunting sat. and had a ball. i think deer season is coming in sat. |

REAL Offshore Fishermen great bunch of guys on here. i just think theyre some shy reporters on here (  ). as the fall fishing heats up you will see more reports and yes probably some lying ( did i say that). just kidding though.

I was wondering the same thing but I think its more a reflection of just how bad a year its been fishing wise. Most of the other fishing sites I frequent are way down as well. Nothing ever stays the same. It will pick up. Anyway, welcome, I'm new to the site as well.
