The wave of Cobia inshore has not hit the Broad River yet. With the cold and nasty winter the big run of Cobia is running late. The good news is we still have plenty of time. I am hoping with the numbers of fish spotted offshore on the artificial reefs we are going to have a good migration into the river. A few Cobia were caught this week in the River but you have to be the one with the silver spoon in your mouth to get one. On the calm morning days if you had the persistence, fish could be spotted cruising the surface.

Never caught a cobia before so excuse my ignorance. Are they any good to eat or are they just that fun to catch? _________________ Tight Lines
