We are opening registration for MAD 5 Oak Island which is taking place on September 11, 2010. Please continue to vist the website for updates. If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
We are updating and working on the on line registration form. To avoid any delays, I have set up a e-mail address - madincnc@gmail.com. We ask that you send a e-mail to this address with the appropriate information shown below. Once your e-mail is received, it will be reviewed and a confirmation e-mail will be sent back. This confirmation e-mail will contain MAD Inc's liability release waiver as well as other important detailed information. Your registration e-mail is acceptance of MAD Inc's liability release waiver.
If you are boat volunteer wishing to partcipate in this event, please include in the subject line "Mad 5 Oak Island Boat Volunteer". Please copy/paste and complete the information shown below:

I am MAD

Captains Meeting - 9/10
The captains meeting will take place at 6:00 PM on Friday September 10th. This will be held at the Moose Lodge (same as last year) which is on the right toward Oak Island, just past Fish Factory Rd and right before the airport.
We will have a meet and greet, discuss the itenerary for the following day, raffle off some door prizes and then conclude with a fantastic meal consisting of: Steaks, green beans, baked potatoes in a pan and rolls.
Sunrise on September 11 is roughly 6:54 AM and high tide will be at 10:14 AM. South Harbor Marina is the designated pick up location. There will be boats departing between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM. Please monitor channel 72 for this event. On your registration form that you submitted, you indicated a pick up time. Haill MAD docks on Channel 72 with your boat name/your name and your estimated time of arrival. There will be volunteers on the dock that morning to assist in tieing up as well as as loading the troops on your boat. The same process should be followed upon your return. For safety purposes, this will be closely monitored as we want to verify that each boat, crew and the assignees to your boat are accounted for.
Saturday's meal will begin at 4:00 PM at the Moose Lodge.

Thank you to all the MAD 5 Oak Island Volunteers!
I would like to thank all that Volunteered their time and boat to take our troops out on Sept 11, 2010 for MAD 5 Oak Island. Hope to see you agian at MAD 6 Oak Island next year!
