Your baits will not spin with a pirate plug. I have told a few people at the marina about them and they have been catching fish with them. Pirate plugs will always be in my spread when king fishing _________________ Tight Lines

Haven’t tried a pirate plug with live bait yet but I would assume that it would work. It does not have a lot of weight so it should not strain the bait that much. As long as you have a longer shank hook so it will reach the hook lock I see no reason why it would not work. _________________ Tight Lines
