IT IS THAT TIME OF THE YEAR AGAIN. NOV. 19TH WE WILL HOLD OUR 6TH ANNUAL HOOKS FOR HEARTS INSHORE TROUT TOURNAMENT. THIS FAMILY ORIENTED EVEN IS CONTESTED THE SATURDAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING AND IS A GREAT EVENT THAT BENEFITS THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION AND THE WINSTON PERRY REEF FOUNDATION.
Captains Meeting Friday the 18th at The Dead Dog Saloon in Murrells Inlet.
Entry: $85 per boat ( up to 4 anglers on each boat) Kayak: $25 (Kayak Division)
$1000 guaranteed for largest Speck. Trout.
TWT for largest trout and flounder $25 each. 100% Payback
All South Carolina Department of Natural Resources regulations apply. And any violation is immediate disqualification.
Fishing times- 7am to 5pm (Boats must be within the channel behind Dead Dog by 5pm)
Weigh in is from 3pm to 5pm
Please drop someone off with your fish and then pull away from the dock until they are done, allowing other boats to do the same.
Awards ceremony starts at 6pm at Dead Dog Saloon. (Great Raffles and Auction Items)
Boundaries are Murrells Inlet and up to 1 mile from the tip of the MI jetties.
All fishing must be done from boat.
You can leave your boat to catch bait, but you cannot get out of boat with a rod.
Boats can make landfall for lunch or fuel during tournament hours.
Each Team must have there team number to weigh fish.
Only 1 fish can be weighed for overall prizes, but we encourage each child(under 16) and lady to weigh a fish. (These additional fish are elgible for division prizes but not for an overall prize.)
All Kayaks can bring fish by car, but must be at the Dead Dog by 5pm. Kayaks cannot win the overall division, but can win the Kayak grand prize TBD!
All TWT's will be paid 60/30/10
Any decision by tournament committee is final!!!!!! No Appeals!!!!!!
