In the last few years the Gag grouper quota hasn't been met,
Now all the sudden its getting met, Wonder Why?
Well Noaa's brain child "Catch Shares" is promoting dealers
that own boats to falsefy records in order to recieve a quota
in future years. Thats right NOAA Has created a monster that
will kill every fishery it touches and with No checks and balances,
all the fish dealer needs to do to get his quota enlarged is report
it. This year Gag fishing is not very good, but magically the quota
will be reached due to fictitious landings.Bravo Noaa Bravo!!!

Here's a link off SAFMC further proof that the guys on southern catch are
being bought out by environmental defence & SAFMC is backing them. http://www.safmc.net/Portals/6/Meetings/Council/BriefingBook/Mar2010/CatchSh/Att3CapLogCompanyOverview.pdf

Company Background
Michael Clayton founded Cap Log Group, LLC while working as a consultant to the Environmental
Defense Fund and helping fishermen solve business and financial problems. The Group’s unique
network of fishermen, economists, entrepreneurs and bankers offers services to help fishermen solve
business and financial challenges that appear during the transition to catch shares. It also develops
web-based tools that help fishermen operate more successfully within catch shares.

It must be nice to Buy fishermen Like these: President - Matt Ruby, Little River, SC

Vice President - Phil Conklin, Murrell's Inlet, SC

Treasurer - Chris Conklin, Murrell's Inlet, SC

Secretary - Dave Thomas, St. Matthew's, SC

Larry Jones, Cayce, SC

Scott Vaeth, Tavernier, FL

Pete Boehm, Key Largo, FL

Jack Cox, Morehead City, NC

Give them Web based tools like this: http://www.southerncatch.com/

And This: http://www.caploggroup.com/www.caploggroup.com/Home.html

And have these kinda people on the payroll economists, entrepreneurs and bankers.

All I see is a buncha crooks & criminals trying to steal honest fishermens future.

IF you look through the last 3 posts that I made and read the
information on those links, It gives you a better picture who
is supporting EDF's Catch share program, The big problem is....
These guys have been preaching about how much of the pie
they are going to get when this catch share thing comes about.
And don't care how they get it with there unchecked books!
And EDF is backing and supporting these crooks to get catch shares!
The funny thing is that>>>>>
They have so much as gotten mad at reguler commercial snapper grouper permit holders on the VHF radio, one of those guys partners yelled
at a permit holder for not showing his support. And the commercial
guy just said he didn't want to be a part of that. More to come...
